Idris Elba Set To Voice Villainous Tiger Shere Khan In Jon Favreau's Live Action 'Jungle Book' Film

For some strange reason, there's recently been an upsurge in interest for big studios to adapt Disney animated classics and fairy tales back to the big screen. With Warner Bros. currently getting things rolling with their David Yates (Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2) directed Tarzan film, and Disney's own upcoming live action adaption including this summer's Maleficent, most major studios have been quick to jump on the bandwagon with this one. Whatever the reason may be, Warner Bros. also has their own Jungle Book adaption in the works, yet Disney seems to currently have the upper hand, with a confirmed director in the form of Jon Favreau (Iron Man), and their first official casting announcement. Idris Elba (Pacific Rim) is set to play the film's iconic villain; the menacing Bengal tiger Shere Khan.

 

The news comes to us courtesy of Deadline, who report that Elba has been the first actor to sign on for the upcoming Jungle Book adaption. While there had originally not been too much official word regarding this film, with the exception of the announcement that Favreau would be directing, it seems Disney has enough confidence in their upcoming Maleficent adaption starring Angelina Jolie, that they've been quick to greenlight Jungle Book as well. Elba is of course a very strong first cast addition, specifically in a role as key as Shere Khan. Elba can certainly bring a very distinct voice and menace to the character, separating it from it's original incarnation.

It's likely Elba may even provide some motion capture work for the role, similar to what Benedict Cumberbatch did in the role Smaug for The Hobbit films. With the recent advancements we've seen in technology, it's likely that Favreau and the studio are looking to take full advantage of the CG effects that'll help bring the story to life, while still restoring it's more fantastical elements. Coincidently, we recently saw an outstanding CG version of a Bengal tiger in the form of "Richard Parker" and Ang Lee's Life of Pi, so don't surprised if Favreau and co. look back on that as a reference.

As I stated above, many of Disney's rival studios have been keen on adapting many of their animated film's into grittier live action films. David Yate's Tarzan was finally able to kick things into gear with an impressive cast (Including Alexander Skarsgard, Margot Robbie, Christoph Waltz, and Samuel L. Jackson), while Warner Bros. is rumored to be eyeing director Ron Howard (Rush) for their own Jungle Book film. WB also has a Peter Pan prequel simply titled Pan set for a summer 2015 release, which also has some big stars on board such as Garrett Hedlund (Tron: Legacy), and Hugh Jackman (The Wolverine).

With all this competition to worry about, it's easy to see why Disney is so interested in adapting Jungle Book, to the point that they've prioritized it over Favreau's Magic Kingdom film that's been in development for quite some time at the studio. The recent rise of interest in adapting these stories heir competitors is surely the reason Disney has become much more conscious of the relevance of the live-action films they have in development. It's hard to blame Disney for wanting to keep up with the trend they started in the first place, and only time will tell if the film's completed cast can compete with that of the many other adaptions in development.

'Watchmen' Star Patrick Wilson Joins Marvel And Edgar Wright's 'Ant-Man' In Unspecified Role

Aside from the average Marvel comic book fans, not too many people were aware that there was an Ant-Man film currently in development, that is assuming they knew who the character was in the first place. But since it was announced that the film would be kicking off Marvel's Phase 3 in the summer of 2015, many movie goers have began to take notice. And it helps that the film's currently cast two big names star as it's leads in the forms of Paul Rudd (Anchorman 2) and Michael Douglas (Behind the Candelabra), under the direction of popular film maker Edgar Wright (The World's End). Well now we have even more talent to add to that growing list, as it's been revealed Patrick Wilson will be joining the film's in an unknown role.

The rumor had originally made it's away online thanks to The Wrap, who mentioned that Wilson had joined the cast of the upcoming film, although his exact role still remain a mystery. In an interview with Screen Rant just a few days ago, Wilson confirmed that he will in fact be starring in the film, but didn't go into detail about his role other than calling it "important". With both of it's headline stars already cast in the form of Douglas and Rudd, there's few roles Wilson could be playing. But of course with his past as a leading man in most of his films, as well as his past work in the superhero movie Watchmen as Night Owl, it wouldn't be a surprise if Wilson's character ends up on the good side after all.

That being said, there is of course still the possibility of Wilson portraying the film's villain. Michael Pena (End of Watch) was recently rumored to have an antagonist role in the film, so it's possible that spot could already be taken. Ant-Man isn't exactly a hero with a memorable or interesting rogues gallery to say the least, with probably his most well known villain being a scientist named Egghead. It's possible that Wilson could be playing a more realistic (And less ridiculous) version of that character, or possibly the new leader of the AIM organization previously owned by Iron Man 3 villain Aldrich Killian. It wouldn't seem to far fetched given AIM's involvement with Scott Lang in the comic books, as well as their current set-up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

But of course, the more popular theory fans have been throwing back and forth is that Wilson will be playing the role of the younger version of Douglas' character Hank Pym, the first Ant-Man. Much to the dismay of many fans, Pym's Ant-Man will not be the focus of the film as it'll in fact be the second Ant-Man, Scott Lang, at the story's forefront. Although we won't see the original Pym Ant-Man fight alongside The Avengers as he did in the comics, director Edgar Wright has already mentioned that we'll get to see some of a younger Pym in action as Ant-Man. This seems like the more realistic role for Wilson, specifically taking into account that Wilson's been a fan favorite for the role before the film was even in production.

The cast for Ant-Man seems to be shaping up very strongly, and a smart move by both Marvel and Wright to help sell the movie to the interests of general audiences. With Douglas and Rudd both bringing enough big name recognition to the film, as well as Wilson's involvement, Wright's past success in the comedy genre, and the possibility of the film adding Michael Pena, Clifton Collins Jr. (Pacific Rim), and Evangeline Lilly (The Hobbit: There And Back Again) to it's ranks, the studio may have it's next Iron Man on it's hands. It seems more likely than not that Wilson will be playing a young Pym, and taking into account the Evangeline Lily could be playing Wasp alongside him, it's safe to say Wright definitely knows what the fans want to see.

'Jurassic World' Adds Vincent D'Onofrio As Its Villain And Irrfan Khan In A Supporting Role

Jurassic Park has always been a movie that combined aspects of fear, adventure, adrenaline ,and action all in one sitting. Never has it really benefited from the use of a objectified antagonist, more like the good guys simply run for their lives from the scariest things to walk the earth since Miley Cyrus and Marilyn Manson. Yet something strange has arisen, the sudden news of a villain, in Jurassic Park? With new additions Vincent D'Onofrio (Men in Black) and Irrfan Khan (The Amazing Spider-Man) there is new rumors of them playing a villainous role in the upcoming installment in the Jurassic Park franchise. 

Well how will this work? Well let's start things off with Irrfan Khan, who was rumored to be up for a par in the film a few months back. The Wrap now bring us our first confirmation of who Khan will be playing, which is rumored to be the newest owner of one of the Jurassic Park regions named "Patel". While it's still unknown whether Patel will be an antagonist or protagonist, his apparent affiliations with D'Onofrio's villain character would lead me to believe he'll be the latter. Therefore, the film will most likely be center on Chris Pratt's (Guardians of the Galaxy) character embarking on a journey along with that of Ty Simpkins (Iron Man 3) as well as Bryce Dallas Howard (The Help) in order to go on some objectified mission that ultimately ends up in them running for their lives. Khan seems like a strong addition to the growing cast, and can make for either a great secondary villain or supporting character.

As for D'Onofrio's character, The Wrap indicates that his character is said to be the CFO of the Patel Corporation, his demeanor is said to be that of a family man with a dark motive. Most likely he may have a idea similar to Alessandro Nivola's role as Billy Brennan in Jurassic Park 3. Secretly stealing dinosaur eggs while traveling with the group did provide a small variation in range within the story. Maybe even Pete Postlethwaite's role in Jurassic Park: The Lost World as a poacher could as be considered as a minor protagonist to Arliss Howard broader antagonist role in the film.

Although both Khan and D'Onofrio are extraordinarily talented actors that'll be more than welcome to the series' fourth installment, one can't help but wonder why director Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed) feels the film needs a villain in the form of a human (And in this case business man) when the real threat of these films is the dinosaurs themselves. Are perhaps that's the real irony of it, because these film's don't exactly require an antagonist, especially when you have Velociraptors and a Tyrannosaurus Rex are more than enough to keep the main characters entertained for the time being. D'Onofrio will undoubtedly play an excellent villain, has he's shown before in films such as the first Men In Black, and Stanley Kubrick's Full Metal Jacket. The actor has also proven he can pull of the nice guy facade as seen on his turn in Law and Order.

Fan-Cast: Marvel's The Illuminati

This serves as an initiation into a mass world for Marvel that is being assimilated. The Illuminati is a group of the smartest individuals in the Marvel universe: Black Bolt, Namor, Professor Xavier, Dr. Strange, Tony Stark/Iron Man, Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Scott Lang/Ant Man, and T'Challa/Black Panther. This group is some of the brightest minds ever brought together to address matters in which the whole world might not be able to comprehend.

This fancast serves as the front runner into a large scale MCU in which is planned to lead into a confrontation with Galactus and his Heralds. Not really diving into the Marvel Knights aspect of the MCU, yet there will be castings for Ghost Rider, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and more if necessary. Just like Iron Man was Marvel's initial spearhead into developing The Avengers, The Illuminati is the best way that is seen as fit to address each of the individual sub sections of the MCU leading into the final battle.

Also addressing other things early, hero's like the Guardians of the Galaxy, Nova Corp., and other sub division of the Marvel universe will be addressed with a superhero faction that is seen as fit for the group or specific character being included. For example the Guardians will be cast along with The Avengers and Heroes for Hire, where as Spider-Man will be cast along side the Fantastic Four. After The Illuminati, Uncanny X-Men, Inhumans, The Avengers Protocol, The Fantastic Four, leading into the grand finale Silent Cataclysm: Earth's Mastication, referring to Galactus trying to devour the earth.

And here I present to you Marvel's The Illuminati:

                                  Colin Firth (King's Speech)-Charles Xavier/Professor X

A well rounded actor, fit to portray a more intellectual version of Professor X, who will be serving as a focal point for the entire team. Being that Colin Firth is our starter for the Uncanny X-Men cast we have in the works, I think he could simply transfer over into the Illuminati cast without a problem. Firth has a sense of wisdom to him that suits the character and personality of Charles Xavier perfectly, and he can make the many knowledgeable between the older and wiser Professor X and the younger heroes much more believable. He's also in the perfect age range for the role, not being as young as James McAvoy or as old as Patrick Stewart.

      Tyler Hoechilin (Teen Wolf) as Namor the Submariner

Namor the Submariner is an interesting character, who can tackle being a loner as well as a crucial factor to a team when it comes to taking down the opposition. After watching Star Trek: Into Darkness it was simple to say that Zachary Quinto would be great for the role of Namor, but it was overused. While I considered something different by looking at Aldis Hodge as a maybe, I hadn't taken into account the repercussions that would come off of casting the character. So I went with Tyler Hoechlin, I mean it would be the world less traveled. He can easily portray the character brutal and aggressive nature in combat, as well as providing the required physicality for the role.

Alan Ritchson (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) as Black Bolt

The Inhumans are led by a leader that is no-vocal, being that his voice is the equivalent of a nuclear / atom bomb, he most often relies on his wits and no verbal gestures to get his point across. Alan Ritchson is set to play Raphael in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle film, he may be able to handle a role as big as Black Bolt. I think due to Ritchson current work with motion sensors in TMNT, he's an actor who has a good understanding of how to work a characters expressions and emotions without relying so much on your voice.

Matthew Goode (Watchmen) as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic

Reed Richards is a very interesting member of the group, specifically taking into account that he's the character who's personal life as a father and Fantastic Four member distractions him from his current Illuminati obligations. Matthew Goode could portray the beyond genius intellect of Mr. Fantastic, as well as playing that figure in the group that wants to challenge Reed Richards every chance he gets to prove who is more intelligent.

Eddie Cibrian (C.S.I. Miami) as Tony Stark/Iron Man

The main focus of the story is Tony Stark and his inability to work with others. But due to the circumstances, his superstitions force him to withdraw from The Avengers temporarily to work with a few individuals in which can help him properly address his fears. Eddie Cibrian is a low profile actor, not necessarily mainstream and can fit the stark persona with a age that can get him in for a few rounds on screen. While of course it's nearly impossible to top Robert Downey Jr.'s current portrayal of the character, I think Cibrian could bring us a Tony Stark much closer to that of the comics. Also another thing that will be addressed that wasn't initially addressed is Tony Starks alcoholism and reoccurring drinking problem, a strong and prominent topic for the film. 

 Aldis Hodge (Leverage) as T'Challa/Black Panther

While I had originally been considering David Oyelowo (Interstellar) for the part, his age and height seemed a bit off for the part. I ultimately decided to go with Aldis Hodge, who could bring us a version of Black Panther who's much younger, intelligent, firm minded, and a well earned strategist. While I'll be the first to admit that this isn't the most creative choice for the part, I personally feel that Hodge's up and coming talent is just too good to pass up for a role as important as the King of Wakanda himself. Besides, it's worth mentioning that the actor's been campaigning to be cast in the role for quite some time now, which shows how involved who would be with the character and his history.

Domhnall Gleeson (About Time) as Scott Lang/Ant-Man

While I had originally considered Rupert Grint for this part, I ultimately decided to go with Gleeson, who coincidently played his brother in the Harry Potter films. That being said, I think that Gleeson has the necessary charm and personality for a character like Scott Lang, and he'd bring qualities to him that will make Lang the more ordinary and relatable guy on the team. Domhnall's also just the right age for the part, and has proven that he can handle both dramatic and comedic moments very well on screen in his recent film About Time.

Joaquin Phoenix (Her) as Stephen Strange/Dr.Strange

Doc Strange is a powerhouse in disguise, with a dash of craziness to him. In the Illuminati he desires to help, yet through an astral projection of himself. Joaquin was snubbed as Lex Luthor along with Bryan Cranston during the casting for Batman Vs. Superman, but I couldn't help but think how interesting it would be to see him as Dr. Strange. Let it sink in for whole, you'll realize he can portray that serious tone with a dash of crazy in the blink of an eye, can easily be fixed into shape, and has a great resume when it comes to acting. So there's really no question that this one is worth a shot.

Villains

Adewale Akinnuoye Agbaje (Pompeii) as Super Skrull

After his performance in Thor: The Dark World, I was positive that he could play the demanding role of Super Skrull. One of the real problems to the Illuminati team is that Super Skrull is more of a physically demanding and challenging characters. Not afraid to rip a whole aircraft apart in search of his prey, he is kept in containment until matters demand for the Skrull version of a executioner to be released.

Cillian Murphy (Inception) as Skrull Emperor

We always here that the Skrull are doing some type of sick test on humans to test their limits, so why not create a sick twisted creator to take on this role. Harsh experiments that reflects that of history's past, the Skrull emperor has no sense of morality, testing on humans and Skrulls alike. With none to oppose him, he begins his assault on the Earth, one individual at a time. Murphy has proven time and time again that he can play a menacing and creepy villain that leaves a lasting impression, and I think that's exactly the type of actor a role like the Skrull Emperor needs.

Directed by Paul Greengrass (Captain Phillips)

Paul Greengrass could provide a strong story format with that hint of Marvel humor that we could look for (with some assistance with needed). This film serves as the basis for something bigger to come, with a series of prequels and sequels to follow all leading up to a very dominant and prominent MCU. Green Grass is one of the best at conveying a believable story and the emotions in which accompany it . By creating a dynamic first step into the universe then creates a applicable situation to branch out an use strong actors.

Music by Alexandre Desplat (Zero Dark Thirty)

Zero Dark Thirty had an amazing sound track to accompany a movie that displayed a distinct event in American History, so it was simple to see that Alexandre would be perfect in order to  craft pieces that define the seriousness as well as the capability of each moment seen through the eyes of the viewer.

Setting- Dubai, United Arab Emirates

We've all seen New York under attack and our other pinpoint cities as well, yes some of them will be used, but as of now I am trying to avoid using New York due to its developing cliché. Being that Dubai is one of the world's richest cities, it would make sense for all the action to take place in a setting that compliments the financial means of majority of the heroes in the Illuminati. With wide streets, scaling buildings, exotic cars and deserts in which to accompany such a high density setting, it is ideal for some covert as well as high profile action to take place.

'Girls' Actor Adam Driver Reportedly Set To Star As The Villain Of J.J. Abrams' 'Star Wars: Episode VII'

You'd think a movie as highly anticipated as Star Wars: Episode VII would have more official announcements than just a director and release date by now, but that hasn't been the case. Between the constant casting rumors involving just about every actor currently making it big in Hollywood, to the many rumored plot points and returning characters, it's hard to separate fact from fiction when it comes to this film. Well fortunately there's finally a bit of news that'll break that streak, as Girl's star Adam Driver is reportedly set to sign on as the film's primary antagonist.

The news comes courtesy of The Wrap who report that Driver is reaching final negotiations to sign on as the film's villain. This makes Driver the first official cast member of J.J. Abrams' upcoming seventh installment to the Star Wars franchise, although it's been long rumored for a while that the original cast (Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Billy Dee Williams) have signed on as well, but they have yet to make that official. Driver, who has been making a name for himself on the HBO series Girls, may be remembered by many from a few months back when he was rumored to star as Dick Grayson/Nightwing in the upcoming Batman Vs. Superman film.

Following the rumors that he was up for the part, Driver was quick to deny that he was up to play Nightwing. But as it would turn out, Driver was in fact up for a part in Batman Vs. Superman, though it wasn't for that of the former Batman sidekick. Apparently he was in fact being considered by Zack Snyder for the part of Lex Luthor, a part which has since been nabbed by Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network). But in The Wrap's report, the mention that Driver decided to turn down the part, due to his chances of starring as the villain of Episode VII. The specifics of the role Driver will be taking still remain unknown, although the character is being described as very similar to Darth Vader himself.

Most recently, there have been several new rumors surrounding Episode VII, but only few are actually of note. First, it's been reported that through recent rewrites by Lawrence Kasdan and J.J. Abrams of Michael Arndt's original script, there have been many important changes made to the film's plot. While it's been confirmed and denied that the film will be based on the already established expanded Star Wars universe, MarketSaw's has revealed that the film will in fact focus on a pair own twins, as has long been rumored. One of these twins will apparently lead a path to the dark side, while the other will follow in their father's footstep. Although this sounds very similar to the story arc of Jacen and Jaina Solo, the source is quick to affirm that these character's may not be included in the film anymore following the rewrites. 

The site goes on to explain that the recent changes to the script have made the original cast more of the central focus of this film, and following Episode VII the series will transition it's focus to the younger generation of Skywalkers. While it's still unknown what actor will be portraying this younger generation of Jedi, it's recently been reported that actors such as Jesse Plemons (Breaking Bad) and Jack Reynor (Transformers: Age of Extinction) had both met with Abrams for a possible role in the film. And lastly, they also mention that Benedict Cumberbatch (Star Trek Into Darkness) and Gary Oldman (The Dark Knight Rises), who will both reportedly be involved with the film despite originally competing for the same part.

Sony Releases Yet Another Trailer For 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' Giving Us A Look At The Rise Of Electro

Well it looks like Sony's starting to feel the heat now that Marvel Studios' new Guardians of the Galaxy trailer is trending on just about every movie blog on the internet (Which includes ours), as they've made sure to keep the gears going on their own film's promotional campaign. Now it seems Sony really wants people to remember their next Spider-Man film is nearly two months away, as they've released an all new trailer for the film, which probably shows us a little more than what we actually wanted to see. Never though I'd say that about a movie based on my favorite comic book character of all time, but after a certain point, enough is enough Marc Webb.

Joking aside, here's the all new "Rise of Electro" trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2:

The trailer generally includes pretty much the same clips and bits of dialogue we've seen in the film's past trailers, although it might've just spoiled something many fans have been curious about. Since the first set photos of Emma Stone's Gwen Stacy were released which included her in very similar attire to what the character wore during the death of Gwen Stacy comic arc. With past footage showing us major battle sequence between Spider-Man and Dane DeHaan's Green Goblin (Who was the one that killed Gwen in the original comics), many believed this could be the end of Ms. Stacy. But sure enough, the scene many believed to be Gwen falling to her death before Spidey could catch her will apparently actually end with Spidey managing to catch her after all. So  it seems Peter Parker's girl is safe for now, but will she eventually face her end in the third film?

But that of course wasn't the only bit of footage the trailer showed us, as we now have much more scenes of Electro in action, and an emphasis on how he eventually turns against the hero he once idealized. While the last Amazing Spider-Man 2 trailer we saw showed us even more of the Max Dillon character prior to his transformation into Electro, this time around we get much more of DeHaan's Harry Osborn aka the Green Goblin. This comes fresh of the heels of Sony releasing the first official picture of Green Goblin in full costume, which has left some fans frustrated over how little it resembles the character's look in the comics.

Although many fans (Including myself) have questioned the direction director Marc Webb has taken with some of Spider-Man's classic villains, it's safe to say he has a much better understanding of the hero himself this time around. We can only home The Amazing Spider-Man 2 doesn't turn into a Spider-Man 3 type of film with much more villains than it's narrative can handle. The last film suffered from many plot points left unresolved due to plans for the sequel, so we can only hope Webb doesn't focus too much on setting up for the third installment (Which he's recently been confirmed to direct) and recently announced Venom and Sinister Six spin-off films, and instead concentrates on developing the storylines and characters currently being featured in the series.

Michael B. Jordan, Miles Teller, Kate Mara, And Jamie Bell All But Confirmed As Josh Trank's 'Fantastic Four'

Ask any of your friends if the knew that Fox had a Fantastic Four remake in the works, and they probably wouldn't even remember the original first two films. For one reason or another, the Fantastic Four is just one Marvel property that hasn't amounted to much on the big or small screen since the team first made their comic book debut. Well now up and coming director Josh Trank (Chronicle) is hoping to change that with his all new reboot, and it's definitely obvious that he wants this new version of the team to be young and fresh. Now after dozens of casting rumors, we finally know the official cast Trank has brought on board for the project. 

The casting confirmation comes courtesy of The Wrap, who revealed that Trank has now locked in long rumored candidates Miles Teller (Spectacular Now) and Michael B. Jordan (Fruitvale Station) as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic and Johnny Storm/Human Torch, respectively. Along with that those two, Kate Mara (House of Cards)will be joining them as Sue Storm/Invisible Women, and Jamie Bell (The Adventures of Tintin) as Ben Grimm/The Thing. While we could already tell from early casting rumors that Trank was looking to go with a much younger team then in the original film and comics, these cast additions seemingly confirm that this will be the case, and Trank may be taking a few pointers from the Fantastic Four's Ultimate Comics run.

Now of course with these casting rumors bring the backlash of many comic book fanboys around the internet, and it's needless to say that these picks are a bit unorthodox. Teller's proven himself recently in dramatic efforts such as the Spectacular Now, and has begun to pull himself away from his more young adult comedy oriented film's such as Project X and 21 and Over.  Jordan's come to prove himself as a highly capable actor with great dramatic acting chops, as well as spot on comedic timing. Although many will draw conflict over Jordan's race in comparison to the blonde hair-blue eyes Johnny Storm of the comics, there's really now reason to believe Jordan doesn't embody the characteristics of the character perfectly. As him and Teller have proven the great chemistry they have in the recent film That Awkward Moment, it'll be great to seem them reunited in another collaboration. 

Kate Mara will be portraying Invisible Women, who seems to be a perfect fit for the actress both age and look wise. But similarly, Mara's casting will also raise some eyebrows, as the Sue Storm of the comics is the biological sister of Johnny Storm. After rumors of Jordan being up for the role of Johnny spread across the internet, many believed Sue would be played by and African-American actress, but this ended up not being the case. The film could of course explore the possibility of Storm's being a biracial family, or either Johnny or Sue having been adopted, but it likely won't restrain from the chemistry the two will have as brother and sister. 

While Mara seems to be a perfect fit for Sue, the same can't be said for Jamie Bell, who will be portraying Ben Grimm aka The Thing. While Bell has proven himself as a terrific actor time and time again since his child hood role in the film Billy Elliot, till his recent animated work in The Adventures of Tintin, he isn't exactly the first person who'd come to mind when you think of the rough and stocky Ben Grimm. Although I personally can't see Bell being as perfect for the role as Michael Chiklis was in the original film (One of that series' few great casting choices), I'm willing to give Trank the benefit of the doubt with this one. Bell's an outstanding actor to have as a part of this series, and he'll fit well amongst the other young cast members he's going with. Bell will likely be providing the mo-cap The Thing as well, given that the studio has elected to take the CGI route with the character's post transformation look this time around.
