Spider-Man 4 Canceled, Spider-Man Being Rebooted
While not every one saw eye to eye on Spider-Man 3, no one was expecting star Tobey Maguire and director Sam Raimi to announce Spider-Man 4 was canceled. This gave Sony to reboot the entire franchise, with a fresh story and cast.

Andrew Garfield Is The New Spider-Man
It was thought to be impossible by some to replace Tobey as Spider-Man. But after tons of names were thrown around (including Josh Hutcherson, Logan Lerman, Michael Angarano, Jamie Bell, Zac Efron, and even Robert Pattinson) Sony introduced to the very unknown (Yet talented) Andrew Garfield as our new Spidey.

But when Sony announced that red head Emma Stone was casted in the film, we thought that Sony had lied about not having MJ, but we were wrong.
