The upcoming film Immortals, strarring Mickey Rourke, our all new Superman Henry Cavill, Twilight's Kellan Lutz, and Luke Evans. It's from the producers of 300 so we can only expect the best.
Here's Luke Evans as Zeus:
Henry Cavill as Theseus:
Kellan Lutz as Poseidon:
Isabel Lucas as Athena:
And Daniel Sharman as Aries:
I really hope the movie follows in 300's footsteps (Which I doubt because Zack Snyder isn't involved), and doesn't end up like last years Clash of the Titans. Personally the whole greek gods thing is getting cliche, but I think this movie looks good and has a decent cast so I'll give it a shot. Hopefully, if the movie is sucessful, Henry Cavill can be introduced to audiences as a great actor before he portrays Superman.
Here's the synopsis:
In Immortals, the ruthless King Hyperion (Rourke) leads his bloodthirsty army on a murderous rampage across Greece to find a deadly weapon that will destroy humanity. A mortal chosen by Zeus named Theseus (Cavill) must lead the fight against Hyperion and his evil army with the fate of mankind and the Gods at stake.
