Review: Kick-Ass Delivers One Of The Best Comic Book Movies I've Seen In A Long Time
Mark Miller has got to be one of my favorite comic book writers at the moment, and with one of his comics already being made into a successful movie (Wanted), there's no surprise that Mathew Vaughn's Kick-Ass adaptation follows in its footsteps. I mean in all honesty, I’m pretty convinced that Mark Miller writes his comics with the intention that they will very soon become movies. Kick-Ass is the most realistic, funny, relateable, yet funny comic book movie I've ever seen, and trust me it's going down in my book as a must see for all you comic fans out there.

Conan's New Home
Conan O'Brien finally found a new home, and not with who we expected it to be. Conan O'Brien picked TBS as his future talk-show home over Fox. The new show will premiere in November, the untitled show will return O'Brien to the air after leaving in January when he left NBC, his where he worked for 17 years. O'Brien's new show will air Mondays through Thursdays at 11 pm Eastern, which will move"Lopez Tonight," George Lopez's late night talk show, from 11 pm EDT to midnight.

Sorry for the in convenience but it looks like "Clash of the Titans" has taken down "Date Night" at the weekend box office after all.With final numbers in from the studios Monday, "Clash of the Titans" retained the No. 1 spot for a second-straight weekend with $26.6 million. "Date Night" debuted in second-place with $25.2 million, nearly $2 million less than distributor 20th Century Fox had reported a day earlier.On Sunday, Fox estimated that Steve Carell and Tina Fey's comedy pulled in $27.1 million, about $200,000 more than Warner Bros. reported for Sam Worthington's action hit "Clash of the Titans.

This weekend Steve Carell and Tina Fey from Date Night are in a box-office clash with the gods of Mount Olympus. All bragging rights for the weekend were too close to call on Sunday, actually 20th Century Fox estimated about a $27.1 million opening for Carell and Fey's comedy "Date Night" and Warner Bros reporting the action tale "Clash of the Titans" at $26.9 million. Rankings will be sorted out Monday when studios release final numbers, which can vary by $1 million or more for some films compared with Sunday estimates.Warner executives said they tracked "Clash of the Titans" as # 1 for a second straight weekend, with "Date Night" trailing by about $1 million."I'm not complaining about it," said Dan Fellman, head of distribution for Warner. "They're certainly entitled to their own projection, and we'll see. Maybe they're right and we're wrong. Monday will tell."
Photo finishes are rare for the # 1 spot at the box office, where one movie usually is the clear winner.

The movie raised its 10-day total to $110.5 million.Running a close # 3 was DreamWorks Animation's "How to Train Your Dragon," which took in $25.4 million, lifting its 17-day total to $133.9 million.
In narrower release, Vivendi Entertainment's inspirational drama "Letters to God" opened at # 10 with $1.3 million. The movie centers on a boy who writes letters to God to help cope with his fight against cancer.
Estimated ticket sales for Friday through Sunday at U.S. and Canadian theaters, according to Hollywood.com. Final figures will be released Monday.
