Transformers 3 Coming July 2011: Set Pics, Details, And Videos

                   
Transformers is a very popular franchise, and with two successful films and one very successful video game it's at it's strongest point (other then the 80's). As we know the film will return Optimus, Bumblebee, Ratchet, Ironhide, Sideswipe, and of course Megatron. Because director Micheal Bay saw the reaction by critics of Revenge Of The Fallen he has decided to take away most of the comedy bits and focus on the story. Bay also said the second movie had to much going on and they hope to change that with the third. You can see all the set pictures HERE or see the videos after the break.

The main villain of the movie will be Shockwave, the robot cyclops-turned-laser-cannon, who became dictator of their home world of Cybertron after the other Autobots and Decepticons journeyed to Earth. The other big news of the film was Megan Fox not reprising her role and being replaced by Victoria Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as the character Carly. This does make sense because in the comics Spike (later converted into Sam for the films) marries a girl named Carly. Bay has also said that there will be no more resurrecting of characters like Megatron and Optimus, once they die there dead.
