Angelina Jolie Joins Marvel Studios' Phase 4 Film 'The Eternals' As Its Female Lead

At this point, its hard to find a big name actor in Hollywood who hasn't appeared yet in the MCU. It almost feels hard to believe that at all point during the making of all these movies, the studio never called up a mega star like Angelina Jolie for one for their films. Well that time has finally come, as they are hoping the actress will lead their latest project The Eternals. Based on characters from the comics and a part of Marvel mythology that isn't exactly common knowledge, it makes sense that bringing a box office draw like Jolie as the first member of the cast will peak the interest of movie goers worldwide.

Its unknown who exactly Jolie will be playing, but its rumored she may be playing one of The Eternals same Sersi. The movie has been described by THR as a love story between the characters Sersi and Ikaris (A man fueled by cosmic energy). Sersi apparently wants to live among humans, and this conflict is a focal point of the movie. Jolie certainly seems to fit the mold of the character, especially if its as important of a part as the report makes it seem. This will be a return to Jolie's days of big action blockbusters, and her first role in a comic book movie since Wanted

The Eternals is certainly a challenging property for Marvel to take on, but one Kevin Feige seems to be very excited about for Phase 4. Having Jolie's name attached will definitely help sell the movie to audiences skeptical of its concept or completely unfamiliar with these characters. In the comics they are basically gods who are created by the cosmic entities The Celestials, and include several different members. In many ways this seems to be Feige's answer the the Inhumans movie he had planned was never able to make, focusing on a lesser known group of super powerful beings. The movie already has a director in Chloe Zhao (The Rider), and will probably be one of Marvel's planned releases next year alongside their Black Widow movie.
Little else is known about the movie as of right now, but rumors have been swirling that movie may feature the first openly gay character in the MCU. While this could be a male or female in the movie (And may even be Jolie's character), MCU Cosmic reports it will be Hercules. They suggest Hercules will actually be the male lead of the movie, and like Thor is a god as well in Marvel comics. There's been a lot of buzz around actor Luke Evans (Beauty and the Beast), who is openly gay himself, taking on this role as he's actually been heavily rumored to star in the movie.
So does Jolie's casting excite about The Eternals movie? What character would you like to see her play? Would you be happy to see Luke Evans play Hercules? Let us know below!

Leaked Poster And Character Images From 'Star Wars: Episode IX' Reveal Lando, The Knights Of Ren, And More

It was a simpler time back in 2015, when all Star Wars fan cared about was how director J.J. Abrams was going to continue the stories of George Lucas' original trilogy. The plan ended up being easier than one would've expected, and gave us a pretty safe story reminiscent of A New Hope that left fans happy while some critics felt it was too predictable. Rian Johnson took those criticisms to heart, and decided to take some big risks in The Last Jedi that led to some major backlash from fans. With its original director Colin Trevorrow having departed the project, Abrams is now back at the helm for the finale of the trilogy he started. Now all of us have been left guessing where the franchise will go from here.

As one would expect, pretty much everything about Episode IX has been kept under wraps minus some additions to the cast. Up until this point we had no idea who some of these new cast members would be playing, but lucky for us an apparent promotional poster and character shots from the movie have leaked online thanks to Making Star Wars. We see our main trio of Poe, Finn, and Rey all back with new updated looks in the poster. There's a mysterious new alien, female character, and possible bounty hunter. There's also the surprising addition of Chewbacca's arrow in C-3PO's hands, which might suggest the droid will get in on the action this time around. But there's some other key additions that have caught fans attentions, specifically in the larger poster.
The leaked promotional poster for Episode 9
For one thing we see Kylo Ren and behind him the Knights of Ren, a group that was teased in the Force Awakens but were no where to be found in Last Jedi. The Knights of Ren was a concept that had many fans excited, and seemed to have been a group similar with an ideology similar to Ben Solo's whose identities and abilities have been shrouded in mystery. This could already be a major influence of having Abrams once again involved and being able to give closure to the storylines he started in his first film. We also get a new alien character and droid that seems to be partnered with BB-8. The alien may actually have changed in concept since this poster was created, as its been said its drastically different from the costume that was used for the character on set.
Character designs for Lando, Chewbacca, Rey, Poe, Finn, Zorii, and Jannah
We also see the updated design for the older Lando Calrissian, who we know is confirmed to make his long awaited return in Episode 9. There's a woman behind Chewbacca on the poster who is a new character named Jannah and has been speculated by some fans to possibly be Lando's daughter. There's also the new character with a red costume and helmet that is rumored to be the character Keri Russell is playing named Zorii, and her look is very reminiscent of past bounty hunters in the Star Wars series. There's been some confusion as to why Carrie Fisher's Leia is not featured on the poster despite the studio confirming she will still be in the movie despite her passing, so this may be hinting at her having a much smaller role in the plot.
So what do you think of the leaked Star Wars: Episode 9 images? Are you happy with the characters new designs? Are you glad we're finally going to get to see the Knights of Ren? Let us know below!

Trailer For Quentin Tarantino's 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' Takes Us Back To The Golden Era Of Cinema

No matter how many times you hear it, it doesn't feel like masterful filmmaker Quentin Tarantino has only made eight movies in his impressive career so far. The director has always said he would retire at the end after his tenth movie, so that would make this year's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood his second to last. Tarantino might be aware that he's at the end too, because with this movie he seems to be going all out. As if partnering the like of Hollywood's two biggest leading men in Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio wasn't enough, he's also put together a stellar cast, and will be taking us back to the prime of the movie making capital of the world.

Below is the trailer for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood:
The tone of the trailer itself may catch some people off guard, as it comes across as a more fun movie with no violence, something Tarantino is known for. For those who don't know the movie will some how incorporate the events of the 1969 Charles Manson murders, a cult leader who murder several people in Hollywood including actress Sharon Tate. Manson will actually be in the movie and is spotted in the trailer, and there will also be many members of his cult family, as well as other Hollywood actors and actresses involved in the events and who were Tate's neighbors.
Coming off two westerns, adapting real life events such as the Manson murders seems like a subject that would give Tarantino a lot less free reign than his past stories. But it seems as if the murders won't actually be in the main subject of the movie, and may just serve as something going on the backdrop of Tarantino's version of 1969 Hollywood. The director himself has actually stated this will be his own version of that time despite including several actual actors and directors from the period, so this may very will be his way of altering history like he did in Inglorious Basterds. Maybe the addition of DiCaprio and Pitt's fictional characters Rick Dalton and Cliff Booth may be what changes the course of these events.
Its worth noting the two main characters of the movie played by DiCaprio and Pitt or completely fictional, so this already shows Tarantino's freedom to alter that time period for our entertainment. Sharon Tate will apparently play a pivotal role, and is being played by Margot Robbie. Given the touchy subject, I wouldn't expect Tarantino to actually glorify or depict the actual murders on screen in the way some fans have expected. The trailer instead focuses more on our main characters and immersing us in how crazy Hollywood really was back then as Tarantino's tribute to the era, right down to a fighting lesson from Bruce Lee himself.
So what did you think of the trailer for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood? How do you think Tarantino will handle his version of the Manson murders? Let us know below!

John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, and Elizabeth Debicki Join Christopher Nolan's Mystery 2020 Film

There's just certain directors out there who can attach their name to a project, and immediately get movie goers excited. We don't have to know what its about, whose going to star in it, or even when its going to be released, and its already at the top of the most anticipated list. Christopher Nolan has earned that very honor with his work on The Dark Knight trilogy and Inception amongst others, so there's already been a lot of bunch about his next film releasing in 2020. As one would expect from Nolan, the film has be shrouded in mystery with only rumors about the plot, that may end up being completely wrong, circulating online.

Well surprisingly enough, we actually have received some more information about the movie after all. Nolan has apparently tapped John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, and Elizabeth Debicki to all star in the film. All three of these names are coming off some pretty exciting and well received projects, and are first time collaborators with Nolan. Washington is best known for his role in the Oscar winning Spike Lee film BlacKkKsman which has really landed him on the map. He was the first cast member announced so its possible he maybe be playing the main character, but he could very well end up in a supporting or antagonist role.
Debecki is also coming off a successful project in Steven McQueen's Widows last year, and also had a role in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. But probably the name that will surprise most people is that of Robert Pattinson, who to some is still Edward Cullen from the Twilight series. While that version of Pattinson may not seem like the type of actor Nolan would want to cast in his movies, his recent projects like Good Time have proven a whole other dramatic side of him. Pattinson has really turned his career around and impressed critics with this sudden shift, and this could very well be his legitimate breakout role that puts his vampire days behind him. Funnily enough Pattinson has been a popular name to take over as the new Batman, so maybe Nolan can put in a good word with Warner Bros.
While not big named super stars like DiCaprio or Christian Bale, these three actors a certainly not as unknown to audiences as those Nolan cast in his last film Dunkirk. There's still room for some his frequent collaborators like Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, or Michael Caine to join the cast in supporting roles, as they have in almost his recent films. The plot of the movie is still heavily under-wraps but some early rumors had described it as a romantic adventure that crosses Alfred Hitchcock's North by Northwest with Inception. Whether this is true or not, the movie will apparently be a big budget epic most likely filmed in IMAX. Knowing Nolan, I'm sure there will be crazy concepts and ideas explored now that dreams and wormholes have already been covered.
So what do you think of the cast so far for Nolan's next movie? What do you think it will be about? Let us know below!

'Stranger Things' Season 3 Trailer Reminds Us The Group Has Really Grown Up Since Season 1

Its hard to believe its already been three years since we first met the kids of Hawkins on the Netflix series Stranger Things, and the series has become something of a cultural phenomenon since then. At has spawned career for many of its leading actors, who were only twelve when the show started production. So the trailer for season 3 which premieres this fourth of July almost feels like catching up with old friends, and an emphasize on the word old. The trailer doesn't shy away from the fact that its young leads of aged since they first showed up on screen together, and will explore that shift in adolescence with the backdrop of the usual sci-fi craziness they seem to attract.

Below is the trailer for Stranger Things Season 3:
As I stated above, the trailer focuses a lot more on the evolution of characters and their relationships with each other rather than giving away much of its plot. We know Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and Mad Max (Sadie Sink) will blossom into a friendship, with some great scenes including a set taking place in the mall. We also get a hint that this season will focus on the theme of things changing for the group as they get older and aren't kids anymore, with Mike's (Finn Wolfhard) voiceover explaining that. This will apparently hit Will (Noah Schnapp) harder than the rest of the group as we see him holding a photo of the guys together in their Ghostbusters costumes.
There's also of course the return of the bromance between Steve (Joe Keery) and Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), as the former will be working at an ice cream shop at the mall we see will serve as an important setting. We also get the return of Max's brother Billy (Dacre Montgomery), who will be working as a lifeguard at the local pool and still flirting with Mike's mom. There's been some speculation that Billy could eventually turn into the creature we see later in the trailer after being possessed, but thats just fan fiction at this point. There were complaints that the second season of the show didn't do as much with the older teen characters, so seeing the involvement of Steve, Billy, Nancy (Natalie Dyer), and Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) in the trailer is exciting.
Netflix hasn't been so loyal to some of their successful projects in the past such as the Marvel shows that were all canceled this past year, but it seems the Duffer Brothers are being given the freedom to fully develop their planned storyline for Stranger Things. While the cast is getting older, and there's only so many times we can see the Demogorgan attack Hawkins before its too much, season 3 might not be the conclusion to the series the trailer makes it feel it is. With the trailer already gathering hype from fans, and a return to summer release date, its looking like this season may very well give the first a run for its money.
So what did you think of the trailer for Season 3 of Stranger Things? What are your theories about the new monsters teased? Let us know below!

'Toy Story 4' Trailer Teases Andy Flashbacks, New Characters, And A Possible Happy Ending For Woody

The Toy Story movies are a very important part of my childhood, having grown up seeing the first movie on VHS, the second movie with my cousins in theaters, and the third one just as I was about to finish middle school. It seemed as if the series had wrapped up just in time for my to put my kid years behind me, but I guess Pixar won't let me have that peace of mind. Instead they had to pull my college self back into the emotional attachment I had to these characters with this nostalgic trailer for Toy Story 4. A lot has changed since the first movie, with some characters gone and even more new ones being introduced here.

Below is the trailer for Toy Story 4:
Fans of the franchise have already been quick to put out that this trailer follows a lot of the same beats as the previous three. Mainly the idea of either Woody or Buzz being separated by the group of toys, while the other leads a search to find them. Then there's the idea of life for the toys after the child has grown up, and the temptation of staying in a place where toys are always appreciated. This was an idea touched upon in Toy Story 3 and was one of the main ploys Lotso used to convince the toys to stay and Sunnyside Daycare, but in this case it seems Woody's former love Bo Peep will be the one doing the convincing.
This will actually be the first time we really see what life is like for Woody, Buzz, and the gang now that they belong to Bonnie. There's also several new characters hinted at in the trailer, but the most important seems to be Forky who joins Woody on his adventure. We also see a stuntman toy voiced by Keanu Reeves, a pair of creepy ventriloquist dolls, and a pair of stuffed animals at the carnival voiced by Key and Peele. Forky (Voiced by Tony Hale) is the first toy we get in this universe who sort of crosses the line of what it means to be a toy, since he was technically created from scratch by Bonnie. This will apparently play into some identity issues with him, which could work similar to how Buzz couldn't grasp the concept he was just a toy in the first movie.
Its hard to see this movie getting fans any more emotional than the ending of Toy Story 3, which many felt was a fitting conclusion that series should've been left on. However Tim Allen and Tom Hanks have teased how much they cried playing out the scenes from the end of this movie, so fans might want to get their tissues ready. Whether this means Woody may actually stay behind this time and separate from Buzz and the rest of the group remains to be seen, but its something certainly hinted at in the trailer. There will also be some flashbacks to their days with their original owner Andy, some I'm sure that'll get the tears going for the generation who grew up on the original two.
So what did you think of the Toy Story 4 trailer? Do you think Pixar should've left the trilogy as it was? How do you think the movie will end? Let us know below!

Ezra Miller Working On A Script For 'The Flash' Movie That Will Determine Whether He Keeps The Role

Yeah you read that headline right. According to a recent report, Ezra Miller has butt heads with the current directors of The Flash movie John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein (directors of Game Night and writers of Spider-Man: Homecoming). The duo apparently wants a lighter tone for the solo movie, more in line with the current projects going on the the DCEU such as Shazam! and Aquaman. But Miller wants a darker take, and is working on a script with comic book writer Grant Morrison to submit to Warner Bros. If this script isn't approved, its believed Miller may step away from the role entirely and be recast by Daley and Goldstein.

The report came courtesy of The Hollywood Reporter, who explain that Miller's holding deal with Warner Bros. is up this May. If the darker script written by Miller and Morrison is not approved by the studio, they will most likely chose not to renew his contract. Given that Miller signed on to play the character way back when Zack Snyder was the head of the cinematic universe, the initial pitch he received for his character was probably much different from the current one. Funnily enough, The Flash was actually one of the main light hearted characters in Justice League, and not someone you'd expect to have a darker solo movie.
Warner Bros. has already shown they aren't afraid to drastically change things from Snyder's original vision for the sake of making better received projects. Following the success of Wonder Woman, the studio made a point to make Aquaman a very separate movie from the shared universe. Meanwhile they've been recasting roles left and right, including their search for a young Batman to replace Ben Affleck, the casting if Idris Elba to replace Will Smith as Deadshot, and even the possible replacement of Henry Cavill as Superman. With the studio's focus on solo projects and lack of regard over the events that took place in their previous movies, now seems as good a time as ever for a fresh take on The Flash.
This recent news has probably the most traction the Flash movie has gotten since it was first announced with Rick Famuyiwa (Dope) as its original director, but left over creative difference. At another point Chris Lord and Phil Miller hadn't written a script for it that would be directed by Seth Grahame-Smith, but they also left the project. With accomplished directors on board and an apparent Fall start of production, the two questions we'll get answered in the next few months is who will play the title role and whose script will be used.
So what kind of tone do you feel best suits a Flash movie? If Miller is recast who would you like to see replace him in the role? Let us know below!

Disney Announce They've Rehired James Gunn To Direct 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3'

Its been a weird couple of months for James Gunn, full of ups and downs. The director was controversially fired by Disney last year after old tweets resurfaced from his time before Marvel. Due to the backlash over the tweets, the company announced Gunn would no longer be involved in the final film of the trilogy. Rumors ran rampant of who would takeover the franchise Gunn created, by meanwhile he took on a job over at rivals DC to direct and write a reboot of Suicide Squad. With both parties seemingly having moved on and gone their separate ways, it seemed as if Gunn's chances of returning were practically impossible while Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 would sit in limbo for years to come.

But to the surprise of fans, Disney announced today that the director had been reinstated. Rumors suggest that the studio had always planned on bringing back Gunn, and were waiting for the controversy to die down before announcing he'd return. Cast members like Chris Pratt and Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige had both remained coy when asked about the third installment of the franchise during the last few months, only confirming that they would still be using the script Gunn had wrote. With projects such as The Eternals and Black Widow being prioritized, it was looking as if Vol. 3 had completely fallen off Marvel's schedule.
While names such as fellow Marvel director Taika Waititi had be thrown around as a replacement, Deadline reports that the studio never actually looked into any replacements for Gunn. The firing of Gunn was controversial from the moment it was announced, with cast members from the Guardians films even penning a letter in defense of their director. Gunn had been credited as the man who brought these characters out of obscurity in the comics, and made them into fan favorite house hold names. Dave Bautista had even come out and said he wouldn't return for the third movie following Disney's decision, and experienced interest in joining Gunn's Suicide Squad over at DC instead.
It was believed DC and Gunn's union had been a slap in the face to Marvel, giving the director a similar project to work his magic on a bought on odd team-up of comic book characters. Gunn will apparently still be working on The Suicide Squad in the same capacity as before as it begins filming this fall, and will then work on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 following that. While this does put it behind its original planned release date, I'm sure fans will be patient as long its the same guy behind the camera who brought them the first two movies.
So how do you feel about James Gunn being rehired by Marvel? Are you excited to see him back for Guardians 3 or would you have liked to have seen a fresh take from a different director? Let us know below!

New Trailer For 'Avengers: Endgame' Shows Us The Team Is Finally Reunited To Do "Whatever It Takes"

Never underestimate the unpredictability of the Russo brothers. On a regular Thursday morning, with no lead up or teases like we usually get for this kind of stuff, the directing duo decided to release the last trailer for next month's Avengers: Endgame. As you'd expect, the trailer only reinvigorates the hype fans have waiting to see the conclusion of the events that took place in Infinity War. While we've already known for some time not to expect much from the footage we'd be getting from this movie's marketing, as supposedly it'll only be from the first fifteen minutes. If this is true, then a lot of this trailer's big moments and reveals happen at the beginning of the movie, so we can only imagine what takes place during the rest of it.

Below is the official trailer for Avengers: Endgame:
The trailer starts with some nostalgic call backs to the original solo movies for Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor, reminding us how far each of these characters have come and everything they've been through. We again see Tony Stark stranded in The Benatar ship with Nebula seemingly accepting his fate, but we of course later see in the trailer that the two do in fact make it back to Earth teamed up with the original Avengers. Although its surprising to see that reveal in a trailer, it must not be one of the bigger moments in the movie if the Russos were willing to give it away here. We still don't know how they make it out exactly, so theres still that mystery to look forward to.
There's no actual footage of Thanos in the entire trailer, and not even a mention of his name which also caught many fans off guard. The impression this trailer gives is that this movie is more about the Avengers actual plan, rather than there last confrontation with Thanos, although I'm sure we'll eventually be getting that. There are some shots of a grizzled looking Captain America as well as Rocket Raccoon on War Machine's shoulder, and Nebula in a battle stance that all look like they could be from that exact moment, and the background even resembles a darker version of Thanos' home planet Titan.
We also get some shots that confirm the time jump we've been hearing about, as is made evident by the change in Natasha's hair color and length. Some have speculated this jump ranges from either months to years, and this is when Scott Lang eventually makes his way out of the Quantum Realm and is caught up to speed on what happened. This is also the time span where Hawkeye apparently goes through his arc into becoming Ronin following the loss of his family (And manages to give himself a bad haircut I guess). We get a tease of a possible reconcile of his relationship with Natasha, as well as a flashback of him training his daughter to possibly follow his footsteps as the next archer.
So what did you think of the last trailer for Avengers: Endgame? Do you have any theories as to what the team's plan will be to stop Thanos? Let us know below!

'Aladdin' Trailer Works To Relieve Fans Of Their Concerns Over Will Smith's Blue CGI Genie

Poor Will Smith man. We can't just let the guy enjoy his still relatively new Instagram in piece. Its been a tough couple of months for the actor, when his appearance as the Genie in the Super Bowl spot for Aladdin basically became an internet meme. Not only that, but he was also replaced by Idris Elba as Deadshot in the upcoming Suicide Squad sequel (Although that was supposedly his own decision). So its about time Will got the love we all know he deserves, and sure enough the new trailer for Aladdin finally does his portrayal of Genie justice. Its just about everything we expected Smith's Genie to be like when his casting was first announced, and finally put his comedic timing and positive energy to good use.

Below is the first official trailer for Aladdin:
Its kind of crazy just how much the Genie has been the focus of this entire movie's marketing, rather than the actual story of Aladdin and Jasmine. I mean sure, we get some of that in here too, but audiences pretty much already know how all this is gonna play out (They made a movie of this in the 90s in case you didn't know). Anyway the real exciting part about this movie is how an actor as big as Will Smith was gonna succeed a legendary performance like that of Robin Williams. Thankfully, the crazy visuals from the cartoon look like they'll be making their way into this movie. While I doubt we'll be getting any impressions from Will like Robin was known for, the movie's going to make good use of his own specific sense of humor and personality judging by the trailer.
The CGI itself is also much improved, not looking nearly as fake and unsettling as it did in the TV spot. This fits more in line with the screenshot we saw of Will Smith's full sized Genie which looked much better than what was shown in the commercial, but the actor will also apparently be spending a decent amount of time in human form as well. The overall CGI for the set pieces in general looks much cleaner than it has in previous footage we've seen, and the overall tone feels much more fun and in line with the animated movie we all know and love.
The gripe fans do still have following this trailer is Jafar, is definitely much less theatrical and over the top villainous than he was in the original. The belief is that Guy Ritchie may have done this on purpose for his version of the character, maybe making him slightly more likable and younger as opposed to the creepy older man he was portrayed as in the animated movie. We also learned today that Alan Tudyk will be voicing his loyal servant bird Iago in the movie, so it'll be interesting to see how the relationship between the two of them compares to the original with this more subdued Jafar.
So what did you think of the new Aladdin trailer? Are your sold on Will Smith's Genie now? Let us know below!

First Trailer For Seth Rogen's 'Good Boys' Gives Us An R-Rated Movie Starring A Trio Of Middle Schoolers

Lets face it. As great as it is to see relatively family friendly shows like Stranger Things portray kids as innocent, in the age of the internet a lot has changed. I vividly remember starting middle school and hearing just as much cursing and sex jokes as you'd see in your average rated R movie. So it was only a matter of time before filmmakers took notice, and who better to bring this to the big screen then Seth Rogen himself. Movies such as IT and Jonah Hill's Mid90s pushed the boundaries of having kids curse on screen, but both of those were set in past decades. Now we get a trio of kids who are exposed to just about everything bad you can imagine, all at the expense of some pretty hilarious moments.

Below is the first trailer for Good Boys:
The trailer does pull any punches, showing us the movie will have its fair share of drugs, sex toys, and even a hilarious scene where the trio discovers porn for the first time. The movie star Jacob Tremblay who you may remember as the young boy who starred in The Room opposite Brie Larson, and caught the eye of critics when awards season came around. The mini Craig Robinson who see in the trailer is none other than Keith Williams, who starred on the TV series The Last Man of Earth. And lastly the foul-mouthed freckled kid I predicted will be the breakout star of the movie is Brady Noon, known for his work Boardwalk Empire.
So as you can tell this isn't a Disney Channel movie, but rather something more in line with Rogen's work on Superbad. The intro alone makes light of just how young the film's stars are, by explaining they can't even watch their own red band trailer. The chemistry between the kid is what really sells the trailer, and you can already make out their individual personalities. You have the innocent mama's boy freaking out about everything crazy the see, the average kid just reacting to everything, and the dirty mouthed kid acting like he's more mature then he really is. Sure sounds like middle school to me.
While Rogen isn't actually starring in the movie, his involvement in the project alone should be enough to get comedy fans excited. The man's had great success in the last few years with film's like Sausage Party and Neighbors, and seems to be changing it up with each new movie. Rogen and his frequent collaborator Evan Goldberg are only producing the project though, and Gene Stupnitsky who worked on The Office will be in the director's chair. He'll be working off a script written by Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg, the duo worked on the films Year One and Bad Teacher. While those last two project may not excite you as much as Rogen's, the film showed well at the South by Southwest festival hence the early marketing push for a move being released in August.
So what did you think of the trailer for Good Boys? Do you think Seth Rogen has another comedy hit on his hands? Let us know below!

Rumors Suggest The Rock's 'Black Adam' Movie Will Feature Hawkman, Stargirl, and Atom Smasher

With Shazam! ready to hit theaters in just a few weeks, reviews have already promised that its fun filled movie with a lot of heart. Following the success of Aquaman, DC's finally become to clear up some their future plans, but many projects have yet to get a mention. One of these is the solo movie for Shazam's arch-nemesis Black Adam, who we've known for some time now would be played by Dwayne Johnson. Many fans thought the character would make his appearance in Shazam!, but as far as we know he isn't even going to be making an appearance. With so much in the air, it was believed the project might be dead, but now we have all new details about the movie proving otherwise.

The story of the movie will apparently see Black Adam face off against the DC hero Hawkman, a member of the Justice League in the comics. In the comics, Black Adam and Hawkman's origins both tie in to ancient Egypt, which is how the two acquired their powers. Adam was the first hero chosen by the wizard who would later go on to give Billy Batson his power in the present day, but becomes corrupted by his power. Hawkman similarly is Prince Ku-Fu who is reincarnated in the present day as Carter Hall. If true, its likely the movie will showcase both of the characters origins in Egypt and follow them to their return in the present day.
This is probably where the Justice Society of America characters Stargirl and Atom Smasher come into play, as Black Adam becomes an on and off member of the team in the comics. Unlike other DC villains, Black Adam is sometimes a villain (Specifically when face to face with Shazam) and other times an anti-hero, so we may see him flip back and forth between that in the movie. According to The Hashtag Show, The studio apparently want an actor 30-39 years old to play Carter Hall, and needs to physically look like they can take on The Rock's Black Adam. For Stargirl and Atom Smasher they want an actress and actor in their 20s.
For right now its hard to tell where Black Adam will fit into the current DC schedule, with Bird of Prey, Wonder Woman 1984, The Batman, The Suicide Squad, and Aquaman 2 set through 2020. We also don't know how much the movie will tie in with Shazam despite the two characters being so heavily intertwined in the comics. Tonally, the Black Adam character and description of his solo film so far sound much darker than the tone of Shazam!. But having said that, The Rock is known for more family friendly roles and would fit in well opposite Zachary Levi's hero. It'll be interesting to see what DC does depending on the success of Shazam! next month, and if a sequel including Black Adam could end up becoming a priority.
So what do you think of these rumored details for the Black Adam movie? What actors would you like to see portray Hawkman, Stargirl, and Atom Smasher? Let us know below!

Emma Watson, Andre Holland, and Alec Baldwin Amongst Rumored Shortlist For Marvel's 'Black Widow' Movie

Captain Marvel hit theaters this weekend, and has stolen all the spotlight as Marvel's first female led superhero movie. But fans of course know that another female hero has made her presence felt in the MCU these last ten years, and thats none other than Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow. The character has played a key role since the first Avengers movie and has also gone on to play a big supporting role in both Captain America sequels, but now she'll finally be getting her own movie. While we haven't heard too many details about it other than who will be directing, some rumors have now surfaced online about the actors and characters that may be featured.

According to The Hashtag Show, Emma Watson (Harry Potter series) is on a shortlist of actresses wanted for the other female lead in the movie. The character is surprised as a "kickass female Bond" type, with some fans speculating it could be Yelena Belova who is trained by the same people as Natasha Romanoff and because the next Black Widow in the comics. The character has been used in the Agent Carter TV show, but Marvel has had a knack for ignoring some of its smaller screen storylines in the past. The other actresses also rumored to be up for the part are Alice Englert (Beautiful Creatures), Dar Zuzovsky (Hostages), and Florence Pugh (Fighting With My Family).

Meanwhile the site also reports that Moonlight and Castle Rock star Andre Holland has auditioned for the role of the movie's villain. The studio apparently originally wanted an older actor in their 40s, but now has broadened there search and were impressed with Holland's audition. There's also apparently two roles for an older male and female actor who are American characters that may be working with the film's villain. Alec Baldwin (Mission Impossible: Fallout), Rachel Weisz (The Favourite), and Sebastian Koch (Bridge of Spies) are said to be up for these roles.

The Black Widow film is currently expected to be one of Marvel Studios' 2020 releases, but Kevin Feige has already noted that no official announcements will be made until post Avengers: Endgame. It was also recently debunked by Feige that the movie would be the studio's first R-rated film, a rumor that had been circulating given the source material of Romanoff's character. We know the movie will be an origin story that takes place before Romanoff's involvement with The Avengers, and will explain her training in the Red Room facility that was teased in Age of Ultron.
