It Only Does, Everything

Starting on Febuary 28 the Playstation Network experienced some problems and the server crashed. The slim models were unaffected. The PS3's internal clock reconized this year as a leap year so the station thought it was Febuary 29 instead of March 1. Eventually the console actually fixed itself, it only does EVERY THING! By now all consoles should be restored, but if you did have errors they were probally related or were the ones below:
Errors included:

1)The date of the PS3 system may be re-set to Jan 1, 2000.

2)When you try to sign in to the PlayStation Network, this

message appears on the screen; “An error has occurred. You have been

signed out of PlayStation Network (8001050F)”.

3)When you try to launch a game, the following error message appears

on the screen and the trophy data may disappear; “Failed to install

trophies. Please exit your game.”

4)When you try to set the time and date of the system via the

Internet, this message appears on the screen; “The current date

and time could not be obtained. (8001050F)”

5)You are not able to play back certain rental video downloaded from the

PlayStation Store before the expiration date.

These were the most common errors but were not sure if you were affected or not. If you are an old model owner and you weren't affected then you got yourself a SUPER PS3. If your console was affected then don't worry so was half of the planet's. And if your slim had the problem then you might want to get that checked out. Leave us comments about any rare problems your PS3 had. Enjoy your PS3, while it lasts. Just kidding, but if you are scared of a problem like this happenig again then maybe swithing to another console would be the right thing to do.
